First page in the puppy album!

Well in less than two weeks I will be bringing home my chocolate lab puppy and I could not wait to get started on his album! I went shopping over the weekend for some toys and things and figured I would scrap those!

I lifted this idea from Luvinmylabs (http://amyrs81.blogspot.com/).

The circles are cut from George at 6 and 3 inches. The heart is also from George at 1 3/4. Jan 09 is cut from Alphalicious at 1 inch. The buttons are a Martha Stewart punch. The title is computer generated and only took me about an hour to get right!!

Shaped Engagement Card

Well I saw this wonderful idea from Enfys (http://going-buggy.blogspot.com/) and had to lift the idea.

A good friend just got engaged and I though this would make a perfect congrats card for her.

The card is cut from Storybook at 10.5. The turtledoves are cut from Joys of the Season at 3.5. The heart is embossed with the Cuttlebug swiss dots. The border punch is Martha Stewart and the interior stamping is a Inkadinkado clear wedding set. The paper is from the DCWV All Dressed Up Stack.

Sisters - Hanging Canvas

I am in love with making these canvas hangings. This one is a picture from my sister's wedding. The red and white papers are embossed with the Cuttlebug swiss dots. The pearls and punch for the black are Martha Stewart. The swirl at the top is cut from Storybook and I added black rhinestones for some added *Bling*. Sisters is cut from Opposites Attract using Design Studio to weld it together.

Canvas Wall Hanging

My good friend found this picture of her and her boyfriend from a few years ago and really wanted to do something cute with it. This is what I came up with for her.

The canvas is 8 by 10 and the picture is 5 by 7. The green, brown & pink strips are 2 by 10 and embossed with the Cuttlebug swiss dots. The top black piece is 2 inches and then I used the threading water punch. It's put on with pop dots to give it some dimension. Love and You are cut from Opposites Attract at 1 inch and Love is on shadow.

This was my first canvas and I am hooked!! I can't wait to do some of my own pictures.

I'm totally OBSESSED!

I was sooo excited to finally get my Storybook cartridge and immediately starting cutting out everything just to see. I loved it all...then I busted out the threading water punch that I finally found at M's...amazing! I love how it spices things up a bit! I am going to make a bunch of these cards for all the housewarming gifts we've recieved.

Storybook for the branch on corner feature at 3 in and it's covered in vellum. The stamp is Studio G.

Lake Apopka Layout

In October 2006 we went to Florida with my boyfriend's family. I've been trying to start the album forever and finally I am! We went to Lake Apopka and these are some of the pictures we took. "Lake" was cut from opposites attract in the upright feature at 1 inch ( I think). The palm trees are from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge, the single one is at 1 inch and the double is cut at 2 inches. "Apopka" is cut from Alphalicious on shadow and regular. "A" is at 2 inches and the rest is 1.5 inches. The text is computer generated.

The plaid paper was discontinued and I got it when I worked at Recollections. My goal is to start using some of the old paper...It actually has a pretty big tear on the right page that's mostly covered by the picture.

Thanks for looking!

Baby Shower Invitations

My sister's friend asked me to make 30 baby shower invitations. She liked the format of an Easter card I did and decided to stick with it. The feet are cut from the New Arrival cartridge at 2 inches. The top pink sheet is embossed with the CB swiss dots folder. I definitely learned my lesson...no rinestones when making a bunch of invitations! :) Thanks for looking!
